　　Our world is filled with wireless technology that is capable of transferringcomplex digital information to and from smartphones, GPS devices, and all othermanner of gadgets. Now, there is a new wireless approach to charging these devices that is quickly becoming a _(1)_ for the modern consumer. 　　Wireless chargers work by transferring energy over a short distance using anelectromagnetic field. To charge a device, you need both a transmitter and areceiver. 　　Companies like Powermat Technologies and WiTricity have already developed such devices to be used with mobile phones and to power kitchen _(6)_. 神奇的無線充電器
現在可以用無線的方式為手機充電。
　　我們的世界到處都充滿了無線科技，它可以將複雜的數位訊息轉移至智慧型手機、全球定位系統裝置及其他各式各樣的裝置，或是由這些裝置將訊息轉移至他處。如今，對於現代消費者而言，有一種新的方式很快就要成真了，那就是使用無線的方式為這些裝置充電。有誰曾經想過把電力從某個裝置傳送到另一個裝置是有可能的？
　　無線充電意味著當你想要為你的手機、PSP 或是電動牙刷充電時，再也不必擔心被一大堆電線纏住了。這項科技實際上最早是在 19 世紀由知名的電機工程師尼古拉．特斯拉所發想出來。而近年來隨著科技的微型化、效率提高以及改善應用功能等方面的進展，最終讓特斯拉的夢想在無線化的 21 世紀變得可行。
　　無線充電器的運作是利用電磁場將能源轉移一小段距離。要替某樣裝置充電的話，你必須同時有傳送器和接收器。將傳送器插入電源，並製造出電磁場以使放在附近的接收器感應到電荷，進而充電。
　　Powermat 和 WiTricity 等公司已發展出這類可使用在手機，並可啟動廚房電器的裝置。他們甚至還有更遠大的計劃，要發展出一種裝置，可以透過單一電源，將電力傳送到整間房子裡的電器，像是電視、電燈和筆記型電腦等。在未來，即使是電動車也可以透過裝在路上的無線裝置完全地充電。
