曾雅妮六月之後就陷入職業生涯最大低潮，但先前積分的領先差距相當大，曾雅妮已經蟬連世界球后寶座88週。妮妮本週即將在南韓仁川的韓亞銀行錦標賽中挑戰衛冕，去年她以一桿之差擊敗地主崔羅蓮，希望能在這裡找回所有的球感，曾雅妮在結束南韓行之後，她就要返台，備戰下週四10月25日登場的LPGA台灣賽。
去年入秋的韓亞銀行錦標賽，曾雅妮以三輪總合負14的202桿，一桿領先讓地主崔羅蓮的三連霸夢碎，因為這一季的曾雅妮氣勢無敵，總共贏得12座冠軍獎盃，獲選年度最佳球員的殊榮。
事隔一年，曾雅妮再度踏上南韓土地，卻身處長達四個月的低潮，六月以來已經連續11場沒打進前十名，其中還有三場慘遭淘汰。上週的馬來西亞達比高球賽，後兩輪勉強回魂，打出-3和平標準桿成績，卻還是以並列49作收。
揚昇球場第18洞的青天白日滿地紅旗海飛揚，只期待低潮很久的曾雅妮，能在下週四登場的揚昇LPGA台灣錦標賽，重現過往的好成績。
Taiwanese golfer Yani Tseng is mired in the worst slump of her career. She hopes her luck will change as she returns to Taiwan for the Sunrise LPGA Championship.
Last fall Yani Tseng carded a 14 under 202 at the LPGA Hana Bank Championship to defeat her nearest competitor, Na Yeon Choi, by one stroke. It ended Choi’s hope of defending her title for a third consecutive year. Last year Tseng seemed invincible. She captured 12 championships and Player of the Year honors.
What a difference a year can make as Tseng has encountered cool spells, failing to break the top ten in 11 consecutive tournaments since June of this year. Worse yet, she failed to make the cut in three of these tournaments. Last week at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia Tournament, she fought back in the final two rounds with a 3 under and an even par to finish the tournament tied for 49th place.
Next week Tseng will take part in the Sunrise LPGA Championship. She hopes the ROC flag which flies over the 18th hole will bring her a bit of good luck and return her to her winning ways.
