小馬釣魚台
釣魚台主權爭議持續延燒，總統馬英九上午出席舉辦建國百年國際學術研討會，再度從歷史角度，強調釣魚台屬於中華民國，而且寸土片石，在所必爭。

總統馬英九也同時呼籲各國擱置主權爭議，共享東海的資源。
As the Coast Guard was sailing in waters near the Tiaoyutais, President Ma Ying-jeou was asserting the Republic of China’s sovereignty over the islets based on history. But he also suggested there was room for compromise on other issues.

Our position on sovereignty is that we will fight for every inch of territory. This is what Chiang Kai-shek said over 40 years ago to academics who studied in the United States. In fact, that’s the way it is.
The president did suggest again, however, that all parties involved in the dispute set aside their differences and commonly share the resources in the area.
