Major League Baseball releases 2013 schedule; Houston Astros added to AL West

2013新球季

今年的球季才要進入尾聲，美國職棒大聯盟今天已經公佈了明年2013年的新球季賽程，和以往比起來，最大的不同，就是休士頓太空人，將從國聯中區搬移到美聯西區，另外，每天至少會有一場跨聯盟比賽，這些新的變革，將讓球迷有耳目一新的感覺。

2013年新球季的開幕戰，將在台灣時間4月1日，和以往比較起來，新賽季最大的變化，就是原本在國聯中區的休士頓太空人，將搬到美聯西區

太空人加入美聯西區之後，大聯盟六個分區，都是很平均的五支球隊，同時，兩聯盟的球隊數目，也將會一樣，都是15隊

跨聯盟的比賽，也有變革，以往都是集中在某一段時間進行跨聯盟賽事，而明年球季，每天都至少有一場跨聯盟比賽，因此，在紅人主場傳統的開幕戰，他們的對手，將是美國聯盟的天使

世仇洋基以及紅襪，開幕戰就會在紐約交手，道奇以及巨人，也會在球季的第一天，就展開系列賽，另外，過去很少碰面的球隊，明年賽季將進行兩個系列賽，例如道奇還沒拜訪過新洋基球場，明年6月18，19兩日，這兩隊就將在紐約交手。

The 2012 Major League Baseball season is not yet over but next year’s schedule is already out. It features the Houston Astros’ shift to the American League, bringing the number of teams in each league to 15. The World Baseball Classic will also return during Spring Training. 

The 2013 major league season will begin on April 1 Taiwan time. The biggest change from past seasons is that the Houston Astros will be moved from the National League Central Division to the American League West Division.

The Astros’ move means that all six divisions in the big leagues will have five teams each, and each league will have 15 teams.

As a result, one interleague game will be played nearly every day, instead of setting aside a few weeks a year for games between teams from the two leagues. In their traditional season opener, for example, the Cincinnati Reds will play the Los Angeles Angels.

The New York Yankees open against the arch-rival Boston Red Sox in New York, while the LA Dodgers open against the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers will also travel to the new Yankee Stadium for the first time in mid-June to take on the Bronx Bombers.
