中國十一黃金週長假展開,來台旅遊的中國客大幅增加。釣魚台風波後,不少中國客捨棄日本,轉到台灣渡假。知名景點故宮,罕見祭出進場管控維持秩序,名產店也增加2成備料衝業績。
工作人員圍起動線,豎起暫緩進場的告示牌,實在是因為中國團不斷湧入,故宮早已超過2800人館場上限。

中國十一長假開跑,適逢釣魚台風波未平,中國客來台意願大增。

台灣在地人這段期間想外出走走,恐怕得避開這波中國旅遊潮。
Anger over the Tiaoyutai Islands has led many Chinese tourists to choose Taiwan over Japan. They are flooding local tourist sites and shops.
Workers hold a sign to say that entry is temporarily closed. Large numbers of Chinese tour groups have led National Palace Museum to set a limit of 2,800 visitors at a time.

I just selected a few major artifacts and didn’t see many of the pieces I liked best from before.
China’s National Day celebrations happened to coincide with the uproar over the Tiaoyutai Islands. An indirect effect of the controversy was an increase in Chinese tourists to Taiwan.

At a food souvenir shop Chinese tourists have their fill of samples. They aren’t reluctant to buy.

Domestic tourists who want to avoid the crowds will have to choose some of Taiwan’s lesser visited attractions.
