李安導演回到台灣，宣傳新片「少年PI的奇幻漂流」，他和男主角蘇瑞吉，一起接受民視新聞專訪.
李安的最新作品「少年PI的奇幻漂流」，雖然是印度題材的電影，當中卻有80%的場景，都在台灣拍攝。

“台灣其實我覺得電影工業不大，可是東西什麼都有，用在電影裡面，現在最大的資源就是人的思路活潑，人很可愛”
少年PI還沒上檔，就被外國媒體看好，明年至少能再，抱回一座小金人，進入奧斯卡殿堂，呼聲很高。
被李安從3000位，海選出來的印度籍，男主角蘇瑞吉，很難想像他為了電影，先增重14公斤，演出船難前的狀態，再減肥22公斤，演出在海上漂流的慘況，犧牲可真不小。

台灣影迷將會領先全球，欣賞到這部3D電影。
Taiwanese director Ang Lee is in Taiwan to promote his new film, "Life of Pi.” He and star Suraj Sharma discussed making the film in an interview with FTV.
Ang Lee's latest work, "Life of Pi,” is a spectacular, fantasy inspired film. It has an India theme, though 80 percent of the scenes were shot in Taiwan.

I think Taiwan’s film industry isn’t big, but it has everything. In the film industry, the greatest resources are people's ideas, and I think the people are very lovely.
While the film has yet to hit the theaters, early reviews have been quite promising. There’s a chance the film could win an Oscar next year.
Ang Lee chose the lead actor Suraj Sharma from 3,000 candidates. Sharma said it was difficult picturing himself in the movie as he first had to gain 14 kilograms. Then during the scenes at sea when he was shipwrecked, he had to lose 22 kilograms, noting that filming these scenes was quite challenging.

Weight gain is very easy. You just eat a lot and work out, and weight loss for three months we were eating tuna and eating lettuce and drinking water, that’s all.
The Taiwan premiere of “Life of Pi” takes place later this month.
