低頭族開罰 

今天是元旦，不少新政策上路。

特別要提醒低頭族小心，因為只要駕駛人在行駛中、紅燈時使用手機或電腦，都要被開罰，機車罰一千，汽車罰三千。提醒機車族和汽車族，要使用手機，必須暫停路邊或非紅線區。

New driving laws are in effect. 

Motorists are now subject to a fine if they are caught texting or using tablet computers while operating a motor vehicle. The rule applies even at red lights. Scooter riders who violate the law will be subject to a NT$1,000 fine and vehicle drivers to a NT$3,000 fine.
