Sodagreen singer surprises CTV with Want Want protest (2013/01/01)
青峰反壟斷
反媒體壟斷行動，不只學生在跨年夜靜坐自由廣場，高雄義大跨年晚會上，也有名人公開表態。蘇打綠樂團主唱青峰說，媒體應該為真相發言，不是企圖壟斷利用你我，很巧的，這場晚會由旺中集團旗下的中視直播，節目重播時，青峰這段反媒體壟斷的40秒談話被剪掉了。
反媒體巨獸青年聯盟，跨年夜在自由廣場集結，元旦清晨轉往凱道靜坐，大約有近五百位學生響應。
不只學生在為反壟斷努力，高雄義大跨年晚會上，也有名人公開表態。
青峰不只用高亢嗓音與歌迷同歡，還說了讓觀眾大吃一驚的話。

雖然沒有明講，但不難知道，他就是在說旺中集團，偏偏這場跨年晚會是中視轉播的，這段話原封不動直播出去，立刻引發網友誇讚青峰超有guts。
只不過，青峰利用旺中直播的機會反旺中，但重播時卻被剪掉
New Year’s was a time for festivities, and for some, also a time for protest. Students and a pop singer used celebratory events to voice opposition to the takeover of Apple Daily by a group that includes a pro-Beijing media executive.
A student group gathered at Liberty Square on New Year’s Eve. It was there to protest against the sale of Next Media’s print division to a consortium including the Want Want China Times Group, controlled by pro-Beijing tycoon Tsai Eng-meng. The 500 demonstrators moved on to Ketagalan Boulevard early Tuesday morning for a sit-in.
It’s not just students protesting. In Kaohsiung at the New Year’s party for E-Da Theme Park, an entertainer voiced his opinion.
Wu Ching-feng, the lead singer of Sodagreen, delighted the crowd with his powerful voice. He also surprised the audience and viewers at home.

In my opinion, media should be a platform for voicing the truth, says Ching-feng. It should not set out to form monopolies, and it should not look at you or me or us as things to be exploited.
Ching-feng didn’t say Want Want by name, but it was clearly his target. The stand was almost surreal because it was broadcast by CTV, which is part of the Want Want Group. Sodagreen fans went online to praise Ching-feng’s courage.
When CTV rebroadcast the concert, the words of protests had been removed.
