Sweden’s sexiest nurses are being targeted in a job recruitment campaign. Bosses at Stockholm’s South General Hospital say on an internet advert they are looking for ’TV series-hot’ staff to work during the summer holidays.
The advert reads : ’You will be motivated, professional, and have a sense of humour. And of course, you will be TV series-hot or a Söder hipster.’
Nursing manager Jörgen Andersson fended off criticism of the ’sexist’ advert and said : ’We’re looking to recruit competent nurses above all.’
’But we wanted to stick out a bit with our advertising campaign. We managed to do that. We think that people understand that it was written to catch people’s attention’, he said.
Asked whether applicants needed to attach a photograph to their CV, he said it would not make any difference, ’we want a nurse who is qualified and good at their job, regardless of looks.’
