大聯盟球季結束，成為自由球員的王建民將在明天早上搭機回台灣度假，尋找新東家的工作交由經紀公司處理，美國有兩個體育網站建議，洋基如果想補強先發投手，找回王建民是高報酬低風險的投資。
根據王建民經紀公司發布的消息，王建民將在11月8日回台，由於和國民隊之間的合約已經結束，王建民目前是自由球員身分，將由經紀公司負責尋找新東家。
美國有兩個運動網站的專欄作家並沒有忘記王建民，甚至還不約而同的建議洋基隊可以考慮把王建民找回去。「Bleacher Report」場邊報導的專欄作家Cucchiara提到洋基若能以1年200萬美元簽王建民，會是個值得的投資，可能會讓洋基拿到可觀的獲利。
而另一個運動網站「RantSports」的作家Farman，則在他的文章中提到，洋基可將王建民列入春訓受邀名單中，由投手教練Rothschild調整，看看洋基可以根據王建民表現好壞決定是否要簽下他，如果王建民能投出一些內容，就有機會成為一筆低風險高報酬的投資。

Former ace Wang Chien-ming returns to Taiwan tomorrow. The end of the major league season left him without a team, and some hope the New York Yankees take a low-risk gamble on him as a starting pitcher. Also already in Taiwan is Kuo Hong-chih, a former all star who hopes for another chance in the majors.
According to Wang Chien-ming’s agent, the pitcher will arrive in Taiwan tomorrow. He has completed his contract with the Washington Nationals and is a free agent seeking a new team.
Two sports websites in the US continue to follow Wang and have suggested the Yankees consider bringing him back. Bleacher Report columnist David Cucchiara said a Yankees offer to Wang, potentially a 1-year, US$2 million contract, would be a worthwhile investment that could pay dividends for the Yankees.
RantSports columnist Hunter Farman said the Yankees should make Wang a non-roster invitee to spring training. This would allow Wang to work with pitching coach Larry Rothschild who could potentially adjust his mechanics. If Wang improves, the Yankees could sign him and he would be a type of low-risk, high reward investment for the team.
One Taiwan pitcher who did see success this past year in the United States is Chen Wei-yin. There is no timetable for his to return to Taiwan. Meanwhile another free agent, Kuo Hong-chih, is in Tainan undertaking his own training as he is preparing himself for another comeback.
