Lunar calendar signals start of winter with lower temperatures expected (2012/11/07)
今天是立冬
今天是節氣上的立冬，淡水清晨最低溫14.6度，是今年入秋後的新低紀錄，不過太陽一出．氣溫又明顯回升，但立冬是進補的日子，也已經讓麻油雞店開始忙碌。
站在店內角落，老闆正在處理雞肉，煮一整鍋的麻油雞，來迎接立冬進補。今天淡水最低溫14.6度，為入秋以來新低紀錄，讓民眾一早就跑來訂單。

“今年的入冬 天氣比較涼快”
不過太陽一出來，氣溫又明顯回升，這讓日夜溫差，拉大不少，像北部溫差有8度，但好天氣只持續到周六，周日又要變天。

“禮拜天的早上，就受到下一波鋒面，還有東北季風增強影響，那在北部東北部地區，溫度都會往下降，一整天都可能出現下雨情形，預測北部地區最低溫，有可能來到接近18度左右，沿海空曠地區還最再下降一到兩度”

The start of winter this year has seen relatively cool weather.
When the sun came out this morning, temperatures quickly rebounded. The daytime and nighttime temperature differential in the north varied by 8 degrees. Good weather is expected to last only through Saturday before the weather changes.

Sunday morning will see a new front arrive and more impact from the northeasterly monsoon. The north and northeast will see temperatures drop and they may see rain throughout the day. Lows in the north could be around 18 degrees. Coastal and unpopulated areas could see temperatures decline by another one or two degrees.
The weather is beginning to change from warm to cold and wet.
