議員李新整理各局處的紊亂類型，第一類為市府大部分「局」級單位英文命名皆為「Department of 主管業務,Taipei City Government」，而工務局、交通局卻是「Public Works Department of Taipei City Government」及「Taipei City Department of Transportation」。

第二類為局處自行使用縮寫，更難讓外國人了解是那個單位，例如研考會的英文命名為「RDEC of Taipei City Government」，但外籍人士無法理解「RDEC」的含意，捷運局直接把「Taipei City Government」簡寫為「TCG」，都會讓老外有看沒有懂。
