大聯盟季後賽開打第三天，美聯跟國聯各有一隊取得聽牌優勢看
I-老虎隊聽牌1200
奧克蘭運動家隊今天三度領先，卻三度被底特律老虎隊追上，而且還在九局下半，被老虎隊敲出再見高飛犧牲打，老虎以5:4擊敗運動家，取得2勝0敗的聽牌優勢。
I-紅人戰巨人1400
同樣聽牌的還有紅人，雖然巨人派出全隊最多勝的邦加納先發，但邦加納投不滿五局，就被打出七支安打丟掉四分，加上巨人全場只出現兩支安打，紅人終場以9:0獲勝。
I-國民奪首勝1200
國民隊季後賽遇到去年世界大賽冠軍紅雀的強力挑戰，不過國民隊雖然一路落後到八局，但國民隊以適時安打逆轉戰局，終場以3比2力克紅雀，搶下首勝。
I-金鶯戰洋基1400
洋基今天靠著王牌投手沙巴西亞主投8.2局只失2分，加上金鶯終結者強森在九局上半失常，一口氣失5分，終場洋基7比2獲勝，取得1勝領先。
The major league playoffs continued this morning with the Tigers and the Reds taking a two-game lead in their respective best of five series.
Tigers Walk Off
The Athletics led three times, but each time the Tigers came back. In the bottom half of the ninth inning the Tigers had the bases loaded with Don Kelly hitting a high sacrifice fly into the outfield to score the winning run. The Tigers won 5 – 4 and took a 2 to 0 lead in the best-of-five series.
Reds Up 2-0
Another team battling to advance is the Reds, who took on Giants’ starter Madison Bumgarner. In fewer than five innings Bumgarner gave up seven hits and four runs. And with the Giants having only two hits, the Reds managed to get a commanding 9 - 0 victory.
Nats Comeback
The Nationals took on the Cardinals, last year’s World Series champion. The Nationals battled back in the eighth inning to earn the first victory by a score of 3 to 2.
Yankees Top O’s
As for the Yankees, they put forward ace CC Sabathia who went eight and two-thirds innings, giving up only two runs. The game was a dead heat until Orioles closer Jim Johnson suddenly gave up five runs in the top of the ninth, giving the Yankees a 7 to 2 victory and a one-game lead in the series.
