Xinyi Line will open its first MRT entrance on a school campus (2012/10/08)
捷運蓋校內
捷運頭一遭，出口蓋在校園裡。因應信義線明年開通，捷運大安站增建出口，其中一個就蓋在師大附中校園裡。原來當初校方同意出借校地讓捷運安設出風口，附帶條件就是要求加開一個出入口，方便學生進出。
明年信義線即將開通，大安站將在復興南路跟信義路口，加蓋5個出口，疏散通勤人潮。但龐大的出風口，設置地點卻讓捷運局很傷腦筋。

“這幾個通風口原本在大樓裡面，但因為大樓後面的民眾，反對得很厲害，那師大附中願意提供中興堂這個地，讓我們設這個通風口，那他們希望我們增設一個出入口”
但為了避免出入閒雜人等進出校園，校方也將加派教官巡邏，捷運局還特別設計一個出口兩道門。

“白天上學時間給校方用，那晚上以後呢，另一個出口還是開放的，這一般民眾還是可以用”
校方拆除部分校舍讓出空間，捷運局也將提供1.2億經費蓋活動中心補償，造就大安站成為第一個出口設在校園裡的捷運站。
With the opening of the Xinyi Line next year, the Taipei MRT will soon have one of its entrances located on a school campus. The high school attached to National Taiwan Normal University will get an entrance in exchange for letting the metro install exhaust vents on campus.
The Xinyi Line is expected to open next year, and the Daan Station located at Fuxing South Road and Xinyi Road will soon have five exits. It will be a major commuter intersection and DORTS has had a problem deciding where to put an exhaust vent

These few exhaust vents were originally designed to be inside a building. After people in the rear of the building loudly opposed this, the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University was willing to provide us with Chunghsing Hall for these vents. They also wanted us to add an additional MRT entrance.
The safety of the school campus is a concern, so the school will ask teachers to patrol the grounds. DORTS will install two different entrances to prevent unauthorized people from going on campus.

During the daytime this entrance can be used by the school. In the evening, another entrance will be opened for regular commuters to use.
The school has even removed a dormitory to provide extra room with DORTs providing NT$120 million in compensation for an activity center. Soon the Taipei MRT will have its very first entrance located on a school campus.
