高中英聽測驗 今寄通知單
大考中心第二次舉辦的高中英語聽力測驗將在 3 月 4 日登場。大考中心表示，共有 5796 人報考，考試通知將在今天寄發。大考中心副主任洪冬桂表示，今年甄選入學的個人申請，台大等校已把英聽測驗成績納入第二階段的參酌加分條件，考生去年成績若不理想，可把握第二次機會。
大考中心去年 9 月首度試辦高中英語聽力測驗，共 1 萬 2 千多位考生報考，今年 3 月 4 日將再舉行第二次，將在全台 9 個考區、164 個試場考試。
英聽測驗考試時間共 60 分鐘，3 月 4 日下午 2 點為考生入場及考試說明，2 點 20 分起正式考試，範圍為高中英文課程綱要 1—4 學期，及選修科目「英語聽講」課程綱要，題型有看圖辨義、對答、簡短對話與短文聽解 4 種，全為四選一的選擇題，滿分 100 分，分 A、B 、C、F 4個等級。

KUSO英文小辭典─He’s a guy in the senior class.（他是我學長）
很多人念書時很喜歡認「學長／姊／弟／妹」，出社會後也常持續這些關係，但英文中並沒有「學長」這樣的詞彙，因此要表達這種概念，只能用一串英文字來形容，例如可以說：He’s a guy in the senior class.（他是高年級的學生）， senior 是「年長的；高年級生的」之意，或者說：He／She is an upper classman.（他／她是我的學長／姊），此外也可以說：He is a grade above me. 或是 He is a grade higher than I. 都是「他比我高一年級」之意。
例句：
