LONDON, AFP ─ British archaeologists said Monday they believe they have solved the ancient mystery of how the giant stone statues on Easter Island acquired distinctive red hats.

倫敦，路透社 — 週三研究學者表示，一尊可追溯至少三萬五千年前，具性暗示、有著豐滿胸部和大腿的維納斯女神小雕像，顯示出古代的人也思淫慾。

德國圖賓根大學的康納在期刊「自然」中寫道，這尊身長六十公厘的小雕像，可能是目前所挖掘出同類雕像中最早的作品，並顯示舊石器時代時期的藝術，遠遠比我們遠本所想像的還要複雜許多。

學者團指出，在一次考古學挖掘出土的這尊雕像，依照放射性碳定年法判斷出這具自德國南部多瑙河谷的雕像，至少有三萬五千年的歷史了。
