| J: | Yeah, personally I blame it on the government’s “22K program” for interns. It just keeps already stagnated salaries low. |
| M: | Right, and with the government footing the bill, some unscrupulous employers obviously take advantage by replacing regular staff with the interns |
| J: | Meanwhile, real wages haven’t risen since 2003! |

Maybe we’re going to have to start lowering our expectations. |
