Last October, Tom took his sister to a popular amusement park. They were very excited about visiting their favorite haunted house. When they entered the haunted house, it was almost pitch-black, so Tom held his sister’s hand tight and kept talking to comfort her. She didn’t say a single word, so he thought she was just too scared to talk. However, as they moved towards the exit and came into the light, Tom turned around, only to find out the terrible truth. He was not really holding his sister’s hand.

去年十月，湯姆帶他妹妹到一個很熱門的遊樂園玩。他們十分興奮地要去體驗他們最愛的鬼屋。他們進入鬼屋後，裡面幾乎一片漆黑，於是湯姆緊牽著他妹妹的手，不斷地說話安慰她。但妹妹卻不發一語，因此他以為她只是因為太害怕而沒說話。然而，當他們朝出口移動而總算有燈光時，湯姆回頭一看卻發現了可怕的事實。原來他牽的根本不是他妹妹的手。
