善用「介系詞片語」

 

許多「介系詞片語」能清楚表示意思並且讓句子看起來更專業，例如according to / on the basis of / in light of都表示「根據」或「按照」，because of / due to / owing to都指「因為」或「由於」。其它像是on behalf of「代表」，make use of「運用」，by means of「藉由」，as far as「就…的限度」或「在…的範圍」，at the risk of「冒著…的危險」…等。這些好用的「介系詞片語」都可以讓你的句子看起來更加專業，唯一要注意的就是，這些片語後面都接名詞而非子句，例如I am here on behalf of my company. （我在這裡代表我的公司）。
