Cold air mass continues to threaten the island until Thursday (2012/12/10)

周三起回暖

冷氣團持續發威，今天清晨平地最低溫出現在宜蘭，只有13.5度。氣象局表示，週三天氣就會逐漸回暖，週四全台都可以看到太陽露臉。

這幾天冷氣團發威，清晨各地都出現低溫，平地的宜蘭13.5度、嘉義跟淡水都13.9度。

儘管冷氣團威力正在慢慢減弱，不過東北季風緊接著報到，走在街上，風勢特別強。

“明天持續東北季風影響，今明兩天，大家還是要留意，沿海空曠地區、 外島、 都還是有八到九級強陣風，風比較強的情況之下，可能感受上會比14度15度，還要再冷個1到2度左右”

好消息是，忍耐到周三，下半天就會開始放晴。等到周四，各地甚至可以看到太陽露臉，高溫也上探24度，大家可以享受久違的暖意。

A cold air mass continues to work its way through Taiwan with Ilan reporting low temperatures of 13.5 degrees. The Central Weather Bureau says the weather will begin to warm on Wednesday.

The cold air mass over the past couple days has caused temperatures across Taiwan to drop to their lowest levels.The temperature was 13.5 degrees in Ilan, and Chiayi and Tamsui were both 13.9. 

Although the impact of the cold air mass is slowly weakening, the northeast monsoon is arriving soon, making it extremely windy.

Due to northeast monsoon, the weather today and tomorrow is still going to be wet and cold. It has level 8 to 9 winds in coastal areas and outlying islands. Since it is quite windy, the actual perception of the weather could be two degrees lower than the recorded 14 to 15 degrees.

The good news is temperatures will gradually climb on Wednesday, with sunny spells in the same afternoon. The sun will come out on Thursday with the temperatures rising to 24 degrees throughout Taiwan.
