Earthships are neither ships nor planets. They are unique buildings. The idea behind them is to build an environmentally friendly structure that can survive by itself. That means that an Earthship home provides its own heat, water, electricity, and even food. But how? First, Earthships are made of recycled materials, such as car tires filled with dirt that act as the walls.
