監委嗆立委
立法委員日前才被爆料濫用公務車，不過立法院審查監察院預算發現，為了29位監委8點半要上班，就配給每位委員1人1車1司機，被立委痛批太浪費，揚言要砍監院50%預算。
監察院公務停車場，車子停得整整齊齊，這些公務車從清晨開始，就要在這裡待命，接每一位監察委員八點半到院上班！

兩院比一比，監察院29位委員人人有專屬車輛，還有公務車一共7輛，甚至有2台機車代步，反觀立法院只有39台公務車和3台中型巴士，卻要讓113位立委，搶得你死我活！

“我也當過立法委員，工作量如何我也很清楚，忙的性質不一樣 你這比較的話，很像拿蘋果比香蕉，不太對稱啦 不應該這樣比法”
立委建議大砍監察院預算，畢竟立委自己才因為濫用公務車，遭到外界檢討，現在也要用同樣標準，對監察院不合理的福利開刀。
The Control Yuan has 29 members, and each is assigned a personal car and a driver. Lawmakers, recently under fire for lavish spending of their own, accuse the government watchdog of wasting funds. They are threatening to cut its budget in half.
These are the cars assigned to the Control Yuan. Drivers take them from the parking lot early in the morning to pick up government watchdog members so they can be to work by 8:30.

The Control Yuan is an independent authority and has its own needs. It requires a measure of anonymity. When investigating a case, you can’t be high-profile. That is why we have provided one car per person for years.
Recently lawmakers were under fire for abusing their privilege to public vehicles. They then looked at the Control Yuan, and found that all 29 members have a vehicle assigned to them. The legislators call it a waste.

Besides the 29 cars for each Control Yuan member, the watchdog has another seven vehicles and two scooters. The legislature has 39 cars and three midsized buses that need to be shared among 113 lawmakers.

I also served as a legislator and am well aware of the workload. It is a different kind of work. Comparing the two jobs is like comparing apples and bananas. They aren’t the same, so you shouldn’t make a comparison.
Lawmakers recommend cutting the Control Yuan budget. After facing heavy public criticism, they feel the same level of scrutiny should be applied to other public officials.
