Obama, Romney make final push in swing states (2012/11/06)

Incumbent Barack Obama and challenger Mitt Romney made their final appeals to voters. They focused on key swing states that both need to win if they want to become the next president of the US.

Bruce Springsteen, a revered singer songwriter with strong appeal to working class voters, performed on stage at a recent Obama rally in Wisconsin.

That I know what real change looks like. You have cause to believe me because you have seen me fight for it, and you’ve seen me deliver it. You have seen the scars on me to prove it. You have seen the gray hair on my head.

After stumping for last minute votes in Wisconsin, Obama traveled to Iowa and the battleground state of Ohio. His rival Mitt Romney traveled to Florida, Virginia, New Hampshire and also Ohio.

There are many swing states at stake in this election with Romney’s path to campaign victory requiring him to first win 29 electoral votes in Florida. Romney may be borrowing Obama’s strategy four years ago, hoping to win over Florida supporters.

The question of this election really comes down to this: Do the people of America want four more years like the last four years, or do you want real change finally?

The two candidates had a frantic final day of campaigning. Many believe the election is very tight. The latest polls conducted by CNN as well as other media outlets have Obama and Romney's support both within the margin of error.

In a couple of states, it feels like Obama has a little more of an advantage than Romney does, but really we aren’t going to know until election night.

While many media outlets and political pundits are calling the race too close to call, based upon the United States special electoral college system, most are conceding a slight advantage to Barack Obama.
